One Last Bloom Dream Session | Gabrielle 12 Months
Dear Kevin, Camille and Sweet Gabrielle,
What a beautiful evening it was celebrating your little girl’s very first birthday together. It still amazes me how quickly that first year flies by. One moment you’re welcoming a tiny newborn into your arms, and before you know it, you’re celebrating a joyful, curious, smiling one year old who is already bringing so much personality to the world.
Choosing CRU Gardens for Gabrielle’s first birthday session could not have been more perfect. From the moment we arrived, everything about the evening felt so special. The wonderful hospitality, the champagne, the refreshing ice waters, and such a beautiful meal made it feel like we were celebrating alongside old friends. It was one of those evenings where you simply wanted time to slow down.
Then we wandered through the gardens, and it truly felt like a floral dream. Everywhere we turned, there were beautiful blooms surrounding the three of you, creating the sweetest backdrop for such an important milestone. It almost felt like the gardens were putting on a show just for Gabrielle as she celebrated turning one.
Watching your family together was such a joy. The love between the three of you is so effortless and genuine. Every cuddle, every laugh, every smile, and every little glance spoke volumes about the beautiful family you’ve built together. Gabrielle absolutely lights up around both of you, and it’s easy to see that she feels safe, cherished, and endlessly loved. Those quiet moments of connection are often the ones that become the greatest treasures years down the road.
Sessions like this always remind me why I love photographing families so much. The milestones are certainly worth celebrating, but it’s the little in-between moments that tell the real story. The giggles, the snuggles, the playful interactions, and the way you naturally enjoy one another are what make these photographs so meaningful.
As we explored the gardens together, I couldn’t help but think about how magical Cleveland summers really are. There is something so special about warm evenings, gardens bursting with color, golden sunshine, and families making memories together. Nights like this remind me why this season is one of my favorites and why this city has so much beauty to offer.
