Woman’s Day
As Women’s Day knows, rainbow babies have a very special place in our hearts here at Brittany Gidley Photography. Rainbow babies are a baby born subsequent to a miscarriage, stillbirth, or the death of an infant from natural causes. And when a family is blessed with another baby- it is truly the rainbow after their storm. We celebrate these babies while honoring their siblings called home to the Lord and that is what truly makes these sessions so special.
Pottery Barn Kids
It’s cookie time! Pottery Barn was beyond incredible in helping One Stylish Party and I bring this Troop Beverly Hills Glamping Party to life at the Brittany Gidley Photography studio! From goodie bags overflowing with nail polish to big cozy tents in the corner of the studio, this pajama jam was such a blast! Oh and did I mention that we ended with chowing down cookies?!

This is where you can truly see that our clients are nothing short of family. We were there to celebrate with this special family as baby Wesley (finally!) became theirs forever!

There are few things I can think of that are more selfless than the act of serving in the military- and we are thrilled that Country Living agrees. To the brave parents who serve we thank you and have such gratitude for you. We know this sacrifice is often a part of this little love’s life as well- so I can’t think of a better way to honor your service than to celebrate it as a part of our newborn photo shoots!

Yahoo featured one of my favorite Milk Bath Dream Sessions in (what probably should be) the least photographed room in the house- the bathroom! Yep, you’ve got that right! Not only does a milk bath make incredible dreamy images, but it’s amazing for expecting mommies skin too- now that’s what I call a win win!

Martha Stewart isn’t the only one who can’t resist a great Cinco De Mayo! One Stylish Party really blew us away with this Dream Session filled with sweet treats, tequila cocktails, fresh florals- and most importantly- friends! This was easily one of our favorite sessions because we were celebrating our Dream Team member Fernanda becoming a permanent citizen of the United States!

Even Shutterfly knows that nothing says Home for the Holidays like a kitchen full of cookie baking, a tree touching the ceiling and of course making memories with the kids. And that’s exactly what this Dream Session is all about- the art of the gingerbread house! From gooey gumdrops, to roofs dripping in icing, everybody had a different take on what makes their home unique and special to their family!

In a tub filled with fresh florals, we got to spoil a mommy with images that look straight out of a dream for her pregnancy photo shoot! Because rainbow babies are a pregnancy following a miscarriage, stillbirth or the death of an infant from natural causes, they can be really scary for mommies. But we have found that bringing joy, love and images filled with incredible light, we are able to honor the sibling called home to the Lord while getting excited for the blessing to come!

Beyond being a fabulous way to see- shoot by shoot- the amazing work that our team does, we also use these blogs to infuse our love to these new families.
