There is something truly magical about summertime in the Northwoods of Wisconsin, and every time I visit your beautiful property, I’m reminded why it holds such a special place in your hearts. It’s more than just a place to spend the season. It’s where memories are made, traditions are carried on, and childhood unfolds in the sweetest, simplest ways.

Watching your three girls grow up here has been such a gift. Every year they seem a little taller, a little more adventurous, and just as full of wonder as ever. There is something so beautiful about seeing them run through the tall grasses, explore every little corner of the property, and discover tiny treasures hidden in the fields. To them, every walk is an adventure, every afternoon holds a new discovery, and every day is filled with the kind of imagination that makes childhood so incredibly special.

This year brought another sweet addition to the family, too. Welcome, Linhorn! It was so fun watching your newest four-legged family member become part of all the excitement. Somehow it already feels like Linhorn has always belonged, joining right in on the laughter, exploring alongside the girls, and making even more memories to treasure.

One of my favorite parts of our time together was simply slowing down and soaking it all in. The girls splashing at the pool, glasses of lemonade in hand, sunshine reflecting off the water, and laughter echoing through the afternoon… those are the moments that often seem ordinary while they’re happening, but someday they’ll become the memories everyone holds closest.

What I admire so much about your family is the atmosphere you’ve created. Mom and Dad, you have such a beautiful way of making everyone feel welcome the moment they arrive. Your home is filled with warmth, kindness, and a genuine sense of peace. It’s easy to see why your girls are growing into such joyful, confident, and loving young ladies. The love you’ve built into your family shows up in every smile, every hug, and every little interaction.

As I photographed all of you together, I couldn’t help but think about how quickly these seasons pass. The little feet running through the fields won’t stay little forever. The pool parties, the summer adventures, the lemonade breaks, and the afternoons spent searching for hidden gems will one day become stories your girls tell with smiles on their faces. That’s exactly why preserving these moments matters so much.

Thank you for inviting me back to your little piece of paradise year after year. It is such an honor to watch your family grow, to document these beautiful seasons of life, and to witness the love that fills every corner of your home. I always leave feeling refreshed, inspired, and so thankful for the time we spend together.

I already can’t wait to see what next summer brings for all of you.
