Fairy Fun Dream Session | Sophia 12 Months
Dear Bella & Sophia,
I truly do not think words could fully capture how magical this session felt from beginning to end. The second you stepped into the Brittany Gidley Photography Dream Studio, it felt like we all wandered straight into a real-life fairy tale together. Everywhere you looked there were blooms, sparkling details, tiny fairy treasures, and the kind of whimsy that makes you feel like maybe fairies really do exist after all.
Sophia, you completely lit up the entire studio with your smile!!! Watching your eyes widen as we explored each magical little setup was honestly one of my favorite things ever. The scavenger hunt around the studio for all the tiny fairy garden pieces was SO much fun. Every little discovery felt like its own adventure, and seeing your big sister’s excitement grow with each hidden treasure made the whole session feel even more special. I loved imagining you taking those little fairy pieces home afterward to continue building your own magical fairy garden long after the session ended.
And then there were the wings… oh my goodness.
The iridescent fairy wings catching the light while Bella twirled around the studio honestly looked straight out of a storybook. Between the soft blooms, sparkly details, fairy books we read together, and all the imagination woven into the afternoon, it truly felt like childhood magic at its absolute finest. The entire session was overflowing with wonder and joy in the sweetest possible way.
But my favorite part of all had to be the cake smash.
Not only was the cake absolutely stunning, but it somehow matched the dreamy fairy theme perfectly. The gorgeous creation from White Flower Cake Shoppe completely stole the show sitting there surrounded by florals and fairy magic. And Sophia, the joy on your face once you finally got your hands into that cake was priceless. Frosting-covered fingers, tiny giggles, and pure excitement made for the kind of memories that feel impossible not to treasure forever.
One of the things I loved most about this session was how fully everyone leaned into the magic together. Nothing was rushed. Nothing felt too serious. It was simply a day filled with imagination, wonder, laughter, and love, which honestly feels like the very best kind of childhood memory.
Sessions like this are such a beautiful reminder that magic really can exist in ordinary life when we slow down enough to create it together. And this fairy-filled afternoon? It was pure magic in every possible way.
