Ellie, Stevie & sweet baby Malakai,
Oh my goodness… what a JOY this session was. Getting to see your beautiful family again and finally meet little Malakai felt so incredibly special. I feel like I’ve been waiting right alongside all of you for this sweet baby boy to arrive, and seeing the three of you together at last absolutely melted my heart. It is honestly wild for me to think that I have been photographing your family since Ellie was born. Watching your family grow year after year has been one of the greatest gifts, and sessions like this always leave me feeling happiness in the very best way.
Ellie and Stevie, you girls were the sweetest big sisters imaginable. The way you both loved on Malakai so naturally made the entire session feel extra tender and meaningful. Every little forehead kiss, every proud smile while holding him, every tiny cuddle… it was impossible not to feel the love overflowing from all of you. Ellie, you have this calm and caring way about you that makes everyone feel safe and included. And Stevie, your joyful little spirit brought so much fun and energy to the day. You could both already tell how important your new little brother is, and I know he is going to grow up absolutely surrounded by love.
And baby Malakai… goodness, you are already so adored.
One of my favorite moments from the whole session was recreating the Browns helmet photo again. Daddy playing for the Cleveland Browns makes that tradition even more meaningful, and getting to continue it now with all three of you kids just made my heart so happy. Seeing little Malakai tucked into that same helmet, just like his sisters before him, felt like such a full-circle moment. Those are the kinds of photos that become family treasures forever, and I already know this one will mean so much for years to come.
And having Grandma there all the way from Hawaii made everything feel even more special. You could feel how loved this little boy already is from every single person in the room. The laughter, the chaos, the cuddles, the excitement… it was all so genuine and beautiful.
Your family has such a warmness about it that always makes me feel less like the photographer and more like part of the crew by the end of the session. I honestly adore you all so much, and I already cannot wait for all the future memories still ahead. More milestones, more football traditions, more baby giggles, and so many more sweet moments together.
I already can’t wait to see you all again soon.
