Dear Ella, Gigi & sweet baby Claire,
What a joy it was getting to meet your beautiful family and officially welcome you to Cleveland (and to our BGP family!). After spending the morning together, it honestly feels like you’ve been here all along. This past year has held so many huge changes for your family all at once. Moving from Chicago to Cleveland, starting new schools, building a new home and community here, and then welcoming precious little Claire into the world all within the same year… that is a lot for anyone. But somehow, through all the change, your family carries so much warmth, grace, and joy together. It was such an honor to capture this season for you.
Ella, you are absolutely shining in your role as big sister. The way you cared for Claire so naturally and confidently was the sweetest thing to witness. Every little cuddle, every gentle touch, every proud smile while holding her made it so obvious just how much you adore your baby sister already. You have such a calm, loving spirit about you, and Claire is so lucky to grow up looking up to you.
And Gigi… oh my goodness. Your sweet little curls and tender heart completely melted me. Watching you step into your new role as big sister was so precious. You could tell you were taking it all very seriously in the cutest possible way. The little kisses, the curious looks at Claire, the excitement in your eyes whenever everyone celebrated you girls together… it was impossible not to smile the entire time. There is already such a beautiful bond forming between the three of you, and it made this whole session feel extra sweet in the very best way.
One of my favorite things about your family is how deeply connected you all are. Even during such a huge year of transition and change, there is so much love filling every interaction. The laughter came easily, the cuddles were constant, and there was this beautiful feeling of safety and togetherness surrounding all five of you. It honestly felt like watching a family that knows exactly how lucky they are to have each other.
I already cannot wait to watch your family continue growing here in Cleveland. There are so many beautiful memories waiting ahead for you all in this new chapter, and I feel so grateful to get to be even a tiny part of it. More giggles, more milestones, more sister snuggles, and so many more beautiful moments to capture together.
