It’s Dietzel family time! And what an absolute joy it was to see you all again! These get-togethers are quickly becoming one of my very favorite traditions—and this year’s session at the Cleveland Museum of Art was pure magic. The late May sunshine was golden, the marble surroundings were grand and majestic, and YOU—all of you—looked incredible.
It was so special to have everyone together for the holiday weekend. You could just feel the love and connection between each of you, and the energy was so full of joy. From the moment we started, there was laughter echoing through the museum grounds—especially from the kids, who were clearly having the best time just being together. One of my favorite moments was watching everyone line up and play red-light, green-light! The giggles, the excitement, the dramatic freeze poses—perfection. It was such a fun way to bring everyone together and make the session feel even more playful and connected.
Every little group, every big group shot, every hug in between—it all just reminded me how special these moments are. And it’s not just about the photos (though yes, they are going to look stunning in frames!)—it’s about the experience, the memories, and the joy of being together in the same place at the same time.
You all made the evening so easy and fun. From sweet sibling smiles to big family hugs, you brought all the love—and I’m so thankful to be the one who gets to capture it. It’s been such a joy to watch your beautiful families grow over the years. Seeing familiar faces and feeling the same warm energy every time we’re together is the greatest gift.
Dietzels, thank you for including me in this beautiful tradition. Let’s keep it going for years to come—I already can’t wait for the next round of sunshine, laughter, and updated portraits of your amazing family!
