Oh sweet Madeline, what a little ray of sunshine you are! We have been waiting for you! And you are so worth waiting for! You are the sleepiest, snuggliest little baby girl and completely content in every way today. It’s amazing how someone so small can bring so much light and joy into a room!

Madeline, you were ready to show off how precious you are today! And I was here for it! Your tiny curled-up toes and perfectly pouty lips, you are the very definition of perfect. And your soft little fingers stretched and wiggled as if they were already reaching out to explore the world around you. Can we talk about your smile? Because oh my—that dreamy little smile—made everyone in the room pause and melt.

It was so moving to see how much your parents adore you. Your mom looked at you like her whole world had just become more complete. She held you so close, brushing her fingers across your cheeks, completely in awe of you. And your dad? His pride was written all over his face. The way he beamed just watching you sleep was the sweetest thing. The two of them, wrapped up in quiet glances and soft laughter, are completely smitten with their newest little love.
