Layla, you come from a legacy of kindness and beauty my dear! We’re so happy that we got to meet you with your beautiful baby cheeks and your perfect baby feet! We all waited a little bit longer than expected to meet you — you needed to get your beauty rest, didn’t you? — but all good things are worth the wait, and you little Layla certainly are as well.
If you’re as obsessed with Disney movies as we are when you get older, we think your favorite princess is going to be Aurora — she fell into a curse for thousands of years where she slept and slept (doesn’t sound all that bad, right?) until Prince Phillip wakes her up with a true love’s kiss. And we KNOW your sleepy little baby butt is going to have soooo many people who love you and care for you (even if you sleep longer than we expect!) that finding a true love’s kiss is going to be a breeze! And when you open your little baby eyes and flutter those gorgeous eyelashes of yours, everyone around you will know they’re talking to royalty.
And your mom and dad would make the PERFECT king and queen! The love between your parents is so strong, and we’re so glad we could catch it on camera. Also your mom has the best hair of any kingdom, just sayin’. Your family deserves all of the royal trappings and castles and ponies when you get older and get to have a million happy days, but for now little Layla, you can close your precious eyes and get some rest. When you wake up, it’ll be to a world that loves you.
