Penny’s Garden Party Dream Session
Our little Princess Penelope is one!! How did we get here already?! It’s such a blessing to know I’ve been a part of your whole life so far and capturing all your special moments for your family! So today we had to make sure the magic was overflowing for Princess Penelope!
I knew Stan Hywet Gardens was just the right space for what we had in mind. We started in our favorite spot- The English Gardens, hiding bits of magic for you to see when you walked through the big vine alcove. The best surprise was the gorgeous floral swing! Seeing your mom’s eyes light up when she saw it meant everything!
Penny, you were a little shy to start, but once Dad gave you a little mango snack you were ready to go! Everywhere we put you, the flowers matched you perfectly! Daisies, hydrangeas and the dahlia’s all fit with our little future Disney Princess!
As you grow up my love, I can see a perfect combination of your parents in all your beautiful features! Even more, I can see how special both your mom and dad are to you! You love laughing and giggling the day away with Dad and love the security within Mom’s arms.
After all the floral fun, we made it to the best part of the day, a cake smash to celebrate you turning one! Penny, you were ready for your cake! I mean, who doesn’t love a White Flower cake?! You slowly dipped your little fingers into that sweet buttercream before your dad came over to show you how to really smash a cake. Penny, you were a bit unsure about having your fingers full of buttercream cake this time. But you were all about Mommy and Daddy feeding you cake from their hands!
We ended our beautiful summer night with a bubble bath and bubbles floating through the air! You really enjoyed watching the bubbles float across the gardens and sparkle in the sunshine!
Penelope, you are such a sweet little princess and such a special little girl! It has been such an amazing blessing to be a part of your life from day one and and I can’t wait to see all the adventures you get into this year!
