Hot Cocoa and Happiness Dream Session | The Zeitler Family
Kaleia, we LOVED celebrating Christmas — and your second-and-a-half birthday! — with you in New Jersey! It was extra cold, even for us Ohioans, but we made it warm with cocoa and running around and puppy snuggles. We’ve celebrated Christmas (and your first-and-a-half birthday) together last year, and we’re so happy to keep this tradition going and watch you grow up and become warmer and sweeter than cocoa. We always have a wonderful Christmas time with you.
This year we set up a whole hot cocoa bar, complete with a TON of marshmallows and toppings! Secretly, we just wanted some cocoa for our cold hands, but we’re happy to share in the warmth and the sweetness. We had enough to share with you, your grandma, and your parents, but unfortunately Amber couldn’t have any — it’s okay, though, she’s got that puppy fur to keep her warm. After we were done sippin our cocoa, we had fun decorating a tree together and opening the presents underneath It’s still a bit early for Christmas presents, so consider these your half-birthday gifts from us.
The best Christmas (slash half-birthday) gift that we’ve gotten this year is the ability to spend time around people who love each other. Your mom and dad and grandma love you so much that they’re willing to take outdoor pictures in New Jersey to celebrate their family and their love for you. And while the cocoa, and the puppy, and the coats and gloves all did their part in keeping us warm and cozy, the real warmth came from being around such an amazing family and taking part in making memories with all of you. I can’t wait to do it again next year. Maybe we’ll bring some puppy-friendly cocoa for Amber.
