Oh, Hastings Family, what a beautiful evening celebrating sweet little Grace turning one! Everything came together so wonderfully — the golden October light, the laughter, the smiles, and of course, Bourbon! Talk about a dream session!

Your barn in Gates Mills was the most magical setting for this celebration. The warm sunlight peeked through the trees, the weather was amazing, and every moment felt full of joy. Grace was absolutely radiant, her little smile lighting up the entire scene. She loved exploring, laughing, and lighting up the camera! And when she wasn’t exploring, she was all about being held in mamas arms. Which is the most adorable thing ever! You can tell that her mom’s arms are her safe place!

Mom and Dad, you two looked incredible. From your warm smiles to the way you looked at Grace, you could feel how much love fills your family. I loved reconnecting with you both after Grace’s newborn session last year. It’s so special to see you again and watch how much your beautiful girl has grown in just one year. You make the entire session feel so natural and full of joy!

And let’s not forget Bourbon, such a showstopper! Grace’s curiosity with her elegant equine friend was the sweetest thing to watch. Between the laughter, the cuddles, and those glowing light moments, this session was everything a first birthday should be — full of love, beauty, and so much fun.
