Apple Pie Dream Sessions turned Flour Food Fights might be my new very favorite ever session idea. Henry, Rory, and Hayes might have gone home looking covered in flour, but these are some of the happiest, glee-filled photos ever, so I am going to say #worthit.
You all were so perfectly coordinated and your neutral pallet let the magnificent colors of fall create a stunning backdrop. You guys were not upstaged by fall’s beauty: no no no. Your family was 100% the star of the show. You are all gorgeous! The kids are pure unmitigated joy, and Lulu the pup was amazing too! It might have been a dream session, but the thing that made it dreamy was your family!
I love the family pictures together, but the pictures of each of the kiddos alone were great too! I always enjoy capturing each of their personalities. Hayes is hair goals with the sweetest disposition! Rory is giggly and loving. Henry is the quintessential caring big brother with a streak of carefreeness. They’re all amazing in their own right. Together, they complement each other so well.
The orchard we picked was giving me some major Sound of Music vibes for some reason or maybe it was just how picture-perfect your family looked holding hands and enjoying playing nestled in between the rows of trees. Nobody has to know that we BOOA or brought our own apples to the orchard since the apples there were nearly gone for the season. A little movie magic never hurt anybody.
The kiddos liked sifting the flour best of all. It is always so wonderful to me to see sweet little minds being curious about the way things work. They had such a blast figuring it out and then flinging the flour into the air with abandon and coating each other in the process. I can still hear the ensuing giggles looking back at the pictures now. You guys are so much fun!
This photoshoot is going down in history as one of my favorites ever.
