Welcome to the world, Carmie and Della!
Hooray! You’re here! I feel like we have all been waiting with bated breath for you sweet girls to make your much anticipated arrival. Since I have known about you, I have been praying for you and loving you. To have you in the studio was a true dream come true.
You ladies were the perfect models during our time in the studio. You slept so sweetly and you also let us capture a few of your gorgeous eyes taking in the world around you. It’s not every day you get to come to a studio with crazy lights and have a few strangers doting over you, but you both came ready to shine.
I know you are identical, but I swear I see differences in you already. I know that they will only be more pronounced as you grow and I enjoy daydreaming about what things you will find are similar about you and what will feel different. With amazing parents like yours and such a fun big brother, Henry, I know that one thing that will be the same is that you will both feel how loved you are day in and day out.
Speaking of Henry, I am so glad you brought my little man to the shoot with you too. It was my honor to photograph your new family of 5! We even managed to get some shots of just the kiddos and I know that Mommy and Daddy will especially treasure those!
This shoot was classic, crisp, and airy but we definitely did not miss any opportunities to pull out the subtle (and not too subtle) pink stops. The bed of roses was a personal favorite. The pink hues just accentuated your perfectly soft baby skin and served to melt me right into a puddle where I stand.
Girls, I cannot wait to watch you grow. Sleep well for Mommy and Daddy and I will see you again soon!
