Anand family, what a magical evening celebrating Sunny’s very first birthday! I had the best time with all of you at Brecksville Reservation, and I can’t get over how adorable Sunny and Ari are. Sunny, you were all smiles from the start, showing off that happy little face of yours, and Ari, you couldn’t get enough of your baby brother’s chubby cheeks—and honestly, who could blame you?

We kicked things off with some family pictures, and wow—you all brought your absolute best smiles. Mom and Dad, you two are just the sweetest, and it’s always so much fun chatting with you and hearing your stories. The love and laughter in your family is impossible not to notice, and it made capturing these moments so easy and so joyful.

Then it was time for some creek-side fun. The water was perfect, and seeing Sunny splash around while Ari played and laughed nearby was the cutest thing ever. You could feel the pure joy and excitement as Sunny explored, and Ari was right there, loving every second with her little brother.

And then came the main event—Sunny, you were a cake-smashing superstar! You went right for that White Flower Cake Shoppe cake with zero hesitation—hands, fists, and face, everything went in! Ari wasn’t going to miss out either; she joined in on the buttercream fun, and honestly, is there a better way to finish a session than covered in frosting? I don’t think so!

Anand family, thank you for letting me capture this special milestone. Sunny, your first birthday was everything and more, and Ari, your love for your baby brother is so sweet to see. Mom and Dad, you two are thoughtful, kind, and so fun to hang out with. I hope you enjoy the rest of this summer, and I can’t wait to see all of you again for some holiday fun soon!
