Bohannon-Meyers Family!!
Happy first birthday, Everett! How is it possible that a whole year has passed since I got to welcome you as a brand new baby? We celebrated your big O-N-E in the most magical way, surrounded by the gardens at Stan Hywet Hall, with a basket full of balloons and the sweetest little smile that lit up the whole path.
Emmie, you have been with me forever and ever and ever, ever since you were a tiny newborn princess yourself. Watching you grow into the amazing big sister you are today is one of my greatest joys. The way you held Everett’s hand and walked him down that tree-lined path, the way you scooped him up with the proudest smile, it melted my heart.
And then there’s our favorite tradition. Every single year, Emmie and I bring a different Disney princess to life, and this year it was Snow White, complete with a bluebird and a shiny red apple! It was so much fun to pull off. Looking back, I have so many beautiful memories, but my personal favorite will always be the year we actually went to Disney World and turned you into Cinderella at the Magic Kingdom. I can’t wait to dream up next year’s princess with you!
Emmie’s mom is a dear, dear friend of mine and a treasured member of our dream team. Truly, Brittany Gidley Photography just does not tick without her. She is amazing! And I’ll always love capturing her nose to nose with her girl, a shot we do every single time. Getting to spend this evening with all of you felt like being with family. Seeing everyone together, laughing and loving on these two, was such a gift. The way your family blends together is truly life goals. You are some of the most wonderful, genuine people I know, and it shows in every single photo.
Everett, you are such a happy, curious little guy, and I cannot wait to see who you become. Emmie, thank you for being the best big sister and the best little model. And to the whole Bohannon-Meyers family, thank you for letting me be a part of your story. We love you all so much!
