Welcome to the world, Theodore!!

Sweet Teddy, I have been waiting for you! I was there the very day you were born, so of course I packed it all up and drove out to Erie, Pennsylvania to spoil you for your newborn session. It was worth every single mile and felt like the most beautiful full circle moment. Your family is family to me. They are my dear friends, and I thank God every day that photography brought us together.

For four years now, I have been dreaming up your big sister Penny’s childhood (like her Under the Sea Mermaid Dream Session this summer!), one magical moment at a time. And now I get to do it all over again for a little boy! How thrilling is that? I can already imagine all of the adventures ahead for you, little one.

Penny, you were born to be a big sister. The way you wrapped your arms around your baby brother with that huge, beaming smile made my whole heart melt. You were so gentle and so proud, and it was clear that Teddy already has the very best big sister in the whole world looking out for him.

And Theodore, you were an absolute dream. Those chubby cheeks, that soft dark hair, the tiniest little toes and the sweetest sleepy smiles. And of course, we had to tuck you into a cozy nest with a little bear bonnet, because what else would a Teddy wear?

Mom and Dad, thank you for trusting me with these precious first days and with your family’s story year after year. I love you all so much, and I cannot wait to watch Penny and Teddy grow up side by side.
