Preston, a senior already?! How did that happen so fast? It feels like just yesterday we were taking your family’s photos for the first time over ten years ago, and now here you are, standing at the edge of the ocean, surfboard in hand, ready to take on the world. Your future is so bright, and it was such a joy to see you in your happy place, catching waves and loving every minute of it.
Dana Point gave us the perfect summer morning. The sun was warm, the breeze was just right, and you brought your big smile and that calm confidence you always have. It was so fun to capture you doing what you love most. You light up when you’re in the water, and it shows.
And can we talk about what an awesome big brother you are? Grayson absolutely looks up to you, and the way you two laugh together is the best. I loved getting to capture some moments of you with Mom too. Watching you three walk down the beach at sunset, water splashing around your feet, the golden light all around you, was one of those moments that makes you pause and take it all in.
You can feel how much love you have for each other, and it made this session so special. The playful moments, the laughs, the way you all just are together—it’s the kind of magic I’m so grateful to capture for you.
Preston, I cannot wait to see where your next adventure takes you. You are going to do amazing things, and I have no doubt you’ll chase every dream with that same easy confidence you brought to the waves.
