It was so good to see you again, little Emersyn! Youβve grown so much since last time, and I know youβll be even more grown the next time I see you. Youβre growing faster than the grass you were running through at Edgewater! Donβt grow up too fast, little one — youβve still got a lot of time to be held by your mom and dad before youβre too big. We all need to be carried from time to time, and youβre lucky to have parents who love to pick you up and hold you close. We got the most beautiful pictures before we even got to your favorite part of the shoot — the beach! You made a big ole mess throwing sand all over the place, but your delighted smile made it all worth it. The cotton candy skies and blue lake made you look even more like a princess than we couldβve dreamed. Youβve definitely got the same call to the ocean as Moana does — just donβt go sailing off on your own quite yet! Take the time to enjoy the sand and the water on your little baby toes before running off in a new direction.
It couldnβt have been a prettier day for this shoot. The summer sky was amazing, and the temperature was perfect for Emersynβs pretty wardrobe of dresses. The water was great and the whole family ended up splashing around at the end of the shoot (thank goodness it wasnβt the beginning — Iβm not sure Emersyn can run quite fast enough to dry herself off!). Weβre very lucky to have shared in your journey this far sweet girl, and be included in this beautiful family. I canβt wait until we see you again baby girl!!!
