Girls just wanna have fun—and today was all about that mother-daughter magic! This mommy and me session with sweet Penny and her beautiful mama was filled with so much love, laughter, and twirling—it was impossible not to smile from ear to ear behind the camera!
It was girls only in the Brittany Gidley Photography Dream Studio, and let me tell you, the vibes were immaculate. From the moment they walked in, the bond between these two was shining bright. You could feel it in the way they looked at each other, the way Penny reached for her mama’s hand, and how they burst into giggles during every single snuggle and squeeze. These two are besties through and through.
And Mama—wow. She looked stunning! Effortlessly glowing, wrapped in soft fabrics and sweet florals that matched the energy of the day just perfectly. She exudes that gentle strength and radiant beauty that makes you stop and say, “She was made for this.” Watching her with Penny was like watching joy in motion. Whether they were cuddling close or laughing out loud, every moment was full of connection and warmth.
And then there’s Penny. Oh, Penny. This little lady is a ray of sunshine wrapped in giggles and sweetness. She’s one of the happiest little souls I know, and she absolutely lit up the studio. Her joy is pure, her hugs are the best, and that smile? It could power the whole world. She danced, she snuggled, she played—and every second was magic.
The Luxe Little Blooms set in the Dream Studio was the perfect March daydream. Bursting with soft florals and a hint of sunshine, it’s like we fast-forwarded right into spring. It was cozy and fun, with pops of color that matched these girls’ personalities so well. A little tease of the beautiful season that’s just around the corner!
As the session came to a close, I couldn’t help but feel so lucky to witness and capture this special chapter. These moments of togetherness are everything—and I already can’t wait to see them again this summer for more fun, more laughs, and even more memories. Penny, save me one of those hugs!
