Alex, we were so happy to see you again in Brecksville. Weβve known you for a while — since before you were born! — and itβs always been so much fun hanging out with you, no matter where we are. Will, we havenβt known you quite as long, but Iβm so excited to get to know you more as you grow up and have adventures!! Today we went to the Brecksville park with you, your brother, and your mom and dad! And, man, were you and your brother happy to be outside!
Alex and Will, you two REALLY love to be boys! You loved throwing rocks into the river, chasing one another, and just getting into all the trouble in the world. Iβm surprised you didnβt go hunting for frogs or crawdads (your outfits wouldβve been sacrificed for the sake of fun). You two have such a good sibling relationship and friendship, and it makes me so happy to see brothers who love and support each other as much as you two do.
As you continue to grow up, I know youβll continue to take care of each other and teach each other new ways of getting in trouble (and getting out of it). Your mom and dad will be there to lift you up and play hide and seek, but your brother will really know the best ways to play (and annoy) you, and you canβt ask for a better friend or accomplice. You two bring so much joy into our lives, and into the lives of each other, and Iβm so blessed to be able to see you grow older and closer as time goes on. Talk about a power duo! I canβt wait to see what you two do. Just make sure to bring me along for the ride!
