Sweet girl, what a journey you have been on. Your story has been a long one, full of brave days and so much strength packed into such a tiny little body. And now, the moment everyone has been praying for is almost here. You get to go home soon!
Getting to photograph you in the NICU at Akron Children’s was truly an honor. The nurses and staff absolutely adore you, and it is easy to see why. Those big, beautiful eyes just stare right into your soul. You took in every single moment like you already knew just how loved you are.
Watching your Mom hold you close, nose to nose, was one of those moments I will carry with me forever. And your big sister? She is SO excited to bring you home where you belong. Your family is about to be complete under one roof, and my heart could not be happier for all of you.
To the incredible NICU team who has cared for Scottie so lovingly, thank you. And to Mom and Dad, thank you for letting me be a small part of this chapter. Your strength through this journey is inspiring.
