There is a little stretch of Lake Erie that will always belong to you. Every single time I set foot on Edgewater Beach, I think of your family. This is our OG spot, the place where so many of our memories were made, and getting to come back here with you again this year felt like coming home.
You have been with me from the very beginning, and I think about you all year long. I truly count down to this day, when I get to see you, love on you, hear all about what the kids are doing in school and count how many teeth have been lost since last time. All of it! What a joy it is to be a little piece of your family like this.
Charlotte, your sweet smile and gentle spirit light up every photo. Watching you twirl in the sand and wrap your big brother up in a hug in the waves was the sweetest thing. Everett, you are growing up into such a kind, funny young man. Your belly laughs with Daddy under the willow tree had all of us cracking up.
Mom and Dad, you are the kind of people who are just so warm, kind and loving, and it shows in the way you raise these two. Dad, you know one of my favorite things is always swapping stories about the flowers in our yards! We always laugh about how many memories we have made together. We have truly done it all in the way of photo shoots and capturing Charlotte’s and Everett’s childhood, and I am so grateful to be yours.
