Hopkins Family!!
Some traditions are just too sweet to ever let go of, and ours is one of my very favorites. Grace and Ben, your birthdays are only two days apart, so every year we try to plan our session right on one of your special days. This year we celebrated a touch after, but don’t you worry, we still had cupcakes together to make it official! Happy birthday, you two!
We spent the most beautiful fall evening at Bay Field near Huntington Beach in Bay Village. The meadow was glowing in shades of gold and green, the trees were just starting to turn, and the air had that perfect crisp feeling that makes October in Northeast Ohio so magical.
I honestly lost count of how many years we’ve been doing this together. (I peeked, and our blog posts go all the way back to 2019!) Looking back through them, from our first time at Bay Field in 2023 to last fall at Brecksville Reservation, I can’t believe how much you’ve both grown.
Grace, you’re officially a teenager now! How is that even possible? You are so beautiful, inside and out, and it’s been such a joy watching you grow into the amazing young lady you are. Ben, this is your very last year before double digits! You are full of fun and personality, and seeing you and your sister race across that field, laughing the whole way, made my heart so happy.
Mom and Dad, thank you for letting me be part of this tradition year after year. Getting to love on your kids and watch them grow up through my camera is one of the greatest gifts of what I do. I am so grateful for you all, and I can’t wait to celebrate with you again next year!
